The Pilot Light Foundation is currently working in 6 countries, empowering people to help themselves in the fight against extreme poverty, through cooperatives, micro finance, scholarships, and the general groundwork for a healthy life.

Malnutrition is now being made a priority in Guinea. BARAKA, a Pilot Light Foundation sponsored baby food is part of this effort. The pilot program was so successful that a larger organization, Action Against Hunger, is taking it nationwide. Click to read about  Guinea's agricultural strategy.

How you can help: Host a House Party!

It is very simple. Invite your friends to your home for lunch, tea, dinner, dessert, drinks and appetizers, a movie night, whatever you like.  In the invitation, let them know that you are asking for a donation of whatever size you are comfortable with in return for the wonderful afternoon or evening you are offering them.
